Fuji recently released a new 18mm. Fujifilm announces XF 18mm F1.4 R LM WR prime lens. There are already some You tube reviews out there to be seen. Just a tiny tad bigger than the old one and more than 3x the weight. f/2 = 116 gr. f/1.4 = 370 gr.
Fellow Fujifilm shooter Alik Griffin is using the new REALA ACE film simulation on his Fujifilm GFX100 II. According to him, this is the best Fujifilm film simulation so far. My favorite Fujifilm Film Simulators have been Classic Chrome, Provia, and Astia. Those are what I almost always use before applying presets to any images I have.
has a silent focus motor built into the lens. Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 R APD. Sony FE 85mm f/1.8. Lenses with built-in focus motor focus faster and more quietly than lenses without a focus motor which rely on the camera's body focus motor. minimum focus distance.
X-T1 + XF56mmF1.2 R @ 56mm, ISO 400, 1/450, f/1.2 With a total of six programmable function buttons, the X-T1 is Fuji’s most customizable camera. The function buttons can be programmed individually through the camera menu either by going into the setup menu or holding down the DISP/BACK button on the back of the camera. The Fuji glass is arguably better than the Sigma glass for the same price. In some cases not arguably, just better (14mm, 16mm, 23 f.14, 35 f.14, 56mm, 16-55, 50-140) This is really misinformed. Sigma's latest offerings is very good. The 16 1.4 is on par IQ-wise with Fuji's XF16 and cost half. The Sigma 30mm 1.4 competes easily with Fuji 35 1.4.

Viltrox 56mm f/1.4 - Handling and Specs. The Viltrox 56mm f/1.4 is an 85mm full-frame comparable short telephoto lens. The lens has autofocus and EXIF information will be transferred to the camera and to your files which is a huge benefit compared to most third-party manual focus lenses.

Reviews Cameras Lenses Fujifilm Fujinon XF 56mm F1.2 R Review 4.0 Excellent By Jim Fisher February 10, 2016 The Bottom Line The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 56mm F1.2 R has more

As for the AF, Jonas Rask said the 56mm F1.2 WR AF is "plenty fast, leaps and bounds better than the old one". I haven't found much about the AF vs the 50mm F1 yet surely it'll be faster than that one though. Icing on the cake. These new Fuji APS-C lenses are really amazing, they remind me of the GF lenses, just insanely sharp and without flaws.
The sensor size difference is negligible. The Fuji is on the same level, sharpness-wise. The CCD with APO lens gives more neutral colors, but those can be tweaked in post, as I shoot RAW only with any camera. This may offend some Leica users but I am far happier with the 56 1.2 than with the M9 and 90 f/2 APO.
